The automated teller machines or ATMs of crypto have crossed the 39,800 mark worldwide this week. 5 years back, in 2017, the number was reaching 1k. Since then, the crypto ATMs have grown by 3,925%. Until last September, the number of machines was only 10K. Over the next 23 months, it grew in a remarkable graph.

Now the number of crypto ATMs across 77 countries has crossed 39,000. The number is now 39,011. By the period of early August 2022, the number of installing these automated teller machines has already crossed 39k. According to recent data, 614 crypto ATMs operators across 77 countries have installed 39,011 cryptocurrency ATMs.
The data of January 2017 shows that time 969 crypto ATMs were there across the globe. Later, the installation grew by 3,925%. Though, at that time, 95.1% of the total installation was acquired by North America. At that time the worldwide ATMs machine was 37,081.
Presently, the US dominates 87.9% of total crypto ATMs installed across the world. It acquired 39,299 machines. Whereas, Europe captured 3.8% of the total machines. Coincloud (5,643 machines), Bitcoin of America (2,339 machines), Bitstop (1969 machines), Coinflip (4,124 machines), and Rockitcoin (1,781 machines) follow Bitcoin Depot.
Currently, the top crypto ATM manufacturer globally is Genesis Coin. It operates 40.6% of the total number of machines. In the second position, the General Bytes is there. Japan Returned ATMs Recently :
Recently, Japan backed its crypto ATM after four years. Gaia Co., the local crypto firm, has returned the ATMs with an updated security system. The returned ATMs support Bitcoin(BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), and Litecoin (LTC). Users can withdraw their crypto money through ATMs. Multiple ATMs are going to be installed all over the country. Initially, the ATMs installation will start in Tokyo and Osaka. The upcoming plan is to install over 50 crypto ATMs across the country within one year. It is expected to place at least 130 ATMs over the country within the next 3 years.
