Editorial Policy

Coin Network publishes news, analysis and explainers about cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology. This page explains how we report and what readers can expect from us.

Sources

We base factual statements on primary sources wherever they exist: official filings, regulator and court documents, company announcements, on-chain data and named on-the-record statements. We link to the source so readers can check it. When a claim comes from a third party and we could not verify it independently, we say so and attribute it.

News, analysis and opinion

News reports describe what happened. Analysis explains context and possible consequences. Opinion and price-outlook articles are labelled as such and are not investment advice. Price predictions are opinions, never promises.

Sponsored and promotional content

Paid or promotional articles are labelled at the top of the article, and commercial links in them carry rel="sponsored". Advertisers do not decide what our newsroom covers. See our Sponsored Content and Advertising Policy.

Updates and corrections

When we materially update an article we change its modified date. When we get something wrong we correct it and say what changed. See our Corrections Policy.

Not financial advice

Nothing we publish is financial, investment, legal or tax advice. Please read our Disclaimer.
